Get Your Roomba Up And Running Again In No Time!

Your Roomba may not charge for a number of reasons. Check the following:

  • Make sure that your Roomba is placed on the Home Base correctly. The charging contacts on the bottom of your Roomba must touch the charging contacts on the Home Base.
  • Inspect the charging system for dirt or debris. Wipe the charging contacts on the Home Base and on the bottom of your Roomba with a dry cloth.
  • Make sure that the power cord is firmly connected to both the Home Base and to an AC outlet.
  • If you are still having trouble, reset your Roomba by pressing the “CLEAN” button for two seconds, then pressing the “PLAY” button.

Why won’t my roomba charge

I remember the day I brought my roomba home. It was so exciting to finally have a robot to clean my floors for me. But now, after less than a year of owning it, my roomba won’t charge.

I don’t know about you, but I love my Roomba. It’s the best thing since sliced bread. Well, maybe not quite that good, but it’s definitely a life-saver when it comes to vacuuming. Unfortunately, my Roomba has been giving me some trouble lately. It won’t charge no matter what I do! Frustrating, right? Well, never fear – I’m here to help. In this post, I’m going to share with you some tips on how to get your Roomba to start charging again.

Check the power cord to make sure it’s plugged in properly

The first thing you’ll want to do is to check the power cord to make sure it’s plugged in properly. If it’s not, then that could be the reason why your Roomba won’t charge. Make sure that the cord is plugged into both the Home Base and an AC outlet.

If your computer is plugged in and the power cord is properly connected but the computer still isn’t turning on, it’s time to check the outlet. Make sure there’s no debris or other objects blocking the plug and that the outlet is switched on. If it’s still not working, you may need to call a technician.

Make sure the roomba is turned on

I’m not sure if you’re like me, but when I get home from work I just want to relax and not think about anything else. That’s why I love my Roomba. It cleans the house for me so I don’t have to worry about it. But sometimes I come home and find that it’s turned off. And there’s nothing more frustrating than coming home after a long day of work to a dirty house because the Roomba didn’t do its job.

Clean the charging contacts with a toothbrush or q-tip

The next thing you’ll want to do is to clean the charging contacts. Over time, these can get dirty and prevent the Roomba from charging properly. You can clean them with a toothbrush or a q-tip. Just make sure that you’re gentle so you don’t damage the contacts.

If that doesn’t work, try a new battery

If your Roomba still isn’t charging, it may be time to try a new battery. You can buy replacement batteries online or at your local hardware store. Just make sure that you get the right type of battery for your Roomba model.

I hope these tips help you get your Roomba up and running again. If you have any other tips, feel free to share them in the comments below.
